Lakes Entrance Victoria
Rocktober is a Weekend Festival Event organised by
LE Rock & supported by local Rock & Roll Clubs in the area. Many times we have attended Festivals or Events held in other areas around Victoria & Interstate; last year our aim was to bring such an Event to Lakes Entrance, bringing visitors into the town to help boost the economy after the devastation of the bush fires & covid pandemic.
And WE DID IT!!
Lakes Entrance Rocktober is now an annual Event, held on the second weekend in October.
After the success of last year, we are extremely excited for your continued support with our 2nd year.
The weekend events will consist of Rock & Roll dances with Live Bands & a DJ to keep the dance floor running hot on Friday & Saturday nights.
On Saturday, during the day, Live music, dancing & a market will be held on Myer Street, Lakes Entrance & Workshops will be held at the Mechanics Hall.
Our Sunday Social, brings the festival to an end, winding down on Myer Street, with a Live Band & DJ, dancing & a Show 'n Shine Car display.
Support the local food vendors & grab a bite to eat for lunch in between dancing.
Our hope is that our Festival will continue to help support local businesses in Lakes Entrance & surrounding towns, for many years to come, all the while, bringing awareness of a fun, family activity, that everyone can enjoy.
