Lakes Entrance is a coastal town in eastern Victoria, Australia. It's known for the Gippsland Lakes, a vast system of inland waterways. There is a pedestrian bridge to Ninety Mile Beach, which stretches along the town's Tasman Sea shoreline. Wildlife around the beach and lakes includes kangaroos, pelicans and dolphins. The Griffiths Sea Shell Museum has exhibits on marine life and coral reefs, plus an aquarium.
Although you'll be busy enjoying the Festival, there is plenty of activities to enjoy. From a walk on the beach, to boating, swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing; in fact you can experience just about any water activity your heart desires.
If the water is not your thing, there is plenty to see & do on land, maybe have a round of golf or two, or maybe enjoy a fun game of mini golf.
